The environment is complex and sensitive to human activity. At the same time, the sustainable use of natural resources is a key element in economic development and poverty alleviation.
Good governance and respect for human rights are essential for sustainable human development, poverty reduction and the elimination of inequality.
In 2020, PEM completed an independent evaluation of the engagement in the water sector from 2010 to 2017 for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The evaluation was carried out to the highest satisfaction of the Client:

The main objectives – assessing the relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of the SDC engagement in the water sector – have been met by the evaluators.
